As posted on http://www.ffxivcore.com/:
1. What are SE doing to ensure a balanced economy in-game? SEs current anti-RMT activities are making it increasingly hard for other players to make money, which in turn encourages them to buy gil. How will SE break this cycle?
2. Currently SE seem to be banking on securing the FFXI player base with a similar "mighty gods" plot, races and job types. What do SE think they are offering in FFXIV that is genuinely new and will attract players from other games?
3. FFXI penalises players heavily for deaths and failures in instanced arenas, which makes many players cautious and unadventurous when it comes to strategies. If there is no exp to earn in FFXIV what are the penalties for "failure" or have SE done away with the idea of PC regression completely?
4. SE have been openly criticised in recent press for introducing a battle in FFXI that required many hours to complete. This was rectified in patches which reduced the maximum battle time to 2 hours. The very best equipment requires an investment of literally years of play time. If the core of enjoyment of many MMORPGs is player accomplishment and progression how will FFXIV compete with games that offer rewards much more readily?
