So, i finally dinged 71 on NIN. That prolly doesn't sound like a big milestone to most people but to me it means 2 things: Relic pants and one more level closer to 72 and the 6 percent Haste that brings! Sadly the next big step after that is 75, that's gonna be the 3 slowest levels of my life, Ithink. Still, i thought that about BLM and joined a Vunkerl I party that got me to 75 between breakfast and lunch, so there is hope!
Getting to 70 was nice in itself. Finally acces those level 35 subjob abilities, most notably Drain Samba II and Healing Waltz.
Although they have gimped brick bashing in Campaign I have been having a lot of fun just fighting mobs. I even managed to tank one of the Yag NIN NMs for a few rounds. Not bad for 70 with 0 haste!
Having always done Campaign on BLM before I do suddenly feel for people who get caught tanking that get zero help from people standing right by them. You know, if you Haste that NIN, he might just live long enough for it to make a difference. Of course you could just watch him get owned then go running off like a girl when the NM turns on you and MPK half the Allied Forces. Good job you!
Tip: if you have RR up try running AWAY from all the other players. Not passed every single person in the zone.
