One of those nights

Oh, I had one of those horrible nights last night.

My "hanging out" LS went off for an event and I was left to my own devices. What to do?

First, I've accrued a massive bunch of crap in the last week or so and I was struggling for inventory space, so I had to sort that out. Lots of it was good stuff so that meant muling it. Then I had a bunch of stuff to put on the AH and a quest or two to turn in in Abyssea.

Before I knew it I'd been running around for two hours and "achieved" nothing. I hate that feeling.

So, to salvage the evening with at least some sort of achievement I thought I'd give my Katana some ToM love. It's Winter in Vana'diel atm so I figured Ice weather was a sure bet up north. Headed to Pso'Xja and within about an hour had my first trial on lizards done. Win. Back to Jeuno, next trial was Brasscaps in Grauberg and man there was an epic thunderstorm there. Got all 10 kills without a break in the weather.

So, was good! Hurrah for being able to do stuff solo!

Super Saturday - Latent Breaking

Been steadily breaking my 1st Katana WS for a little while and really wanted to knock it out so headed to Grauberg to farm with Festim and get as much done as I could. Fest was on THF so we could only managed a level 2 chain between us but it was a lot better than 1 ws point at a time!

I already had some 200ish points so it didn't take too long to get done then I headed off to Norg to flag the NM fight.

Luckily I was again able to get some help for this and with Keoko on RDM (Slow II ftw), Qube on BLM and Matt on WHM we're were able to take him down with less than zero problems. Thanks again guys!

Headed back to Norg, got my WS and went straight to Campaign to test it (and my Ohat) out. Awesome.

Lovely Haste gear!

So, I managed to ding 72 on Saturday (I think). Was great to finally get into that Haste gear; even better to cap it off with the Swift Belt later. Been doing so much campaign that I was able to rank up immediately after the 5 day enforced wait!

I also unlocked the WS katana quest but not had chance to start doing points yet. Also need a lot of skill ups :(

Thursday

So, we have been planning to exp last night for the last few days and, lo and behold, maintenance. Well, at least they fixed the resist problem.

Anyway, we did manage to party and Kanbe and I both knocked off abou 20k. That puts me within 10k of 72 and all that lovely Haste gear and getting my Katana WS quest. Going to try and knock that 10k off in Campaign I think, though I might go crazy and actually LFG. Level Sync has made me shy about playing with people other than mates.

As for the rest of the weekend. Well, I got plenty to do but I'd quite like to either get an Ohat, knock off DM or make some progress on my missions, whether CoP or otherwise.
