Super Saturday - CoP

Saturday was destined to be a big day. We've been planning to knock out a big part of CoP for me and my bro for a few weeks so we were all set to go. I'll just do the cliff notes though:

Woke up. Fellow CoPees not on. Went and farmed Desert Venom for GK Quest and capped Sword and Dagger on NIN.

Went and had a crack at Parade Gorget NM for my bro in Oldton. 0/1

Gathered together for 1st CoP fight - Diabolos. An LS mate, Schutz, came along to help even though it was about 5am for her. I went WHM/SCH and it's the first time I have played WHM since they made the changes and the Stoneskin effect on Cures was a real bonus. Also my Barsleepra lasted until we actually left the BCNM! We won, no problems.

Next we headed off to Riverne to farm some Giant Scales to get through to Ouryu. We were sleep nuking on BLMx4 and we managed to one shot our way to 3/4 on scales. Awesome. Bhoyed by massive over-confidence we went and tried to kill Ouryu right there and then. We lost.

And that was the end of CoP for the day as we couldn't get any more help.
